Pressure Gauges
We carry Weiss professional pressure gauges for accurate system pressure monitoring. It is important to monitor system pressure regularly in a “closed-loop” hydronic system. Maintaining adequate pressure ensures there will be good system water circulation and prevents the boiler from firing “dry”.
Since normal operating pressures of a “closed-loop” hydronic system range from only 12-25 psi, it is recommended to have a reliably accurate gauge.
Weiss 4 1/2" CTS/CTA Pressure Gauges are designed to meet the standard specifications for Heating applications. The CTS has a stain-less steel case for stem mount and the CTA is an aluminum back flange case for either stem or surface mounting. Both versions conform with ANSI B40.1 accu-racy Grade A-1% mid scale.
POINTER: Balanced adjustable aluminum.
DIAL: White coated metal, lithographed with black graduation lines and numerals.
MOVEMENT: Brass construction.
BOURDON TUBE & SOCKET: Phosphor bronze bourdon. Brass stock socket 9/16" square wrench surface and 1/4" NPT lower con-nection. Soft-soldered construction.
Liquid Filled Pressure Gauges
Weiss liquid-filled gauges are great for all hydronic heating applications. These gauges provide an accurate and stable needle point during periods of vibration or flow fluctuations in a system.
